Insulating the transition between cab & house | Winnebago Ekko
Posted By
Camping in cold temps, we noticed the metal floor trim piece between the cab and the house got really cold. I removed the trim piece and added self-adhesive foil-backed foam insulation to the underside of the trim piece and the floor. I filled the cavity space with Rockwool insulation. Here are the steps, super easy: #1. Remove floor trim piece. #2. Cover the backside of it with self-adhesive foil-backed insulation. #3. OPTIONAL: Also cover the floor with the foil-backed insulation. #4. Fill the cavity with Rockwool. #5. Replace floor trim piece. #6. Pat yourself on the back! Great job!
